By accessing and using the NC Veteran Business Directory ("the Directory"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Directory.

2. About the Service

The NC Veteran Business Directory is a 100% free directory service for North Carolina veteran-owned businesses. This service is proudly sponsored and maintained by WTE Solutions through the WTE CARES initiative.

• No Fees: Listings are completely free, forever
• No Ads: We do not display advertisements
• No Data Selling: Your information is never sold to third parties

3. Eligibility

To list a business on this Directory, you must:

• Be a veteran-owned business (51% or greater veteran ownership)
• Operate a legitimate business in North Carolina
• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Have the authority to represent the business

4. Listing Approval

All business listings are subject to review and approval by our administrative team. We reserve the right to:

• Approve or reject any listing submission
• Request verification of veteran ownership status
• Remove listings that violate these terms
• Edit listing information for accuracy or appropriateness

5. User Responsibilities

By submitting a listing, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Update your listing when information changes
• Not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Not impersonate another business or person
• Respect intellectual property rights
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

6. Prohibited Content

You may not submit listings or content that:

• Contains illegal products or services
• Is fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains offensive, discriminatory, or harmful content
• Violates privacy or publicity rights
• Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting content to the Directory, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute your business information for the purpose of operating the Directory.

The Directory platform, design, and features are owned by WTE Solutions and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

8. No Warranties

The Directory is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Information will be accurate or up-to-date
• The service will meet your specific requirements

9. Limitation of Liability

WTE Solutions, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Directory.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Directory is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Directory after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Directory at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
